This time of year, it’s so easy for us to push off goals, eat terrible and slack on our self-care and/ or work out regimes. We tell ourselves that we’ll start fresh in the new year! It’s as though we become impaired by the thought of having to create a new years resolution, so we feel compelled to give into to our bad habits now before we have to commit to a new year promise of a better us. I call bullsh*t. If you’re waiting for a specific time of year, or date to start your goals stop waiting and start right now! If you don’t accomplish it this time, that’s okay. Start again! Waiting to start is just wasting precious time that you could be adding to your achievements.
Grab a piece of paper, and make a note of the three goals you want to accomplish. Now each goal has to have a plan of how you’re going to achieve it! Even if it’s just a few steps!
Simple example:
Goal: Drink 8 cups of water a day.
How: Find a water bottle large enough to fit 4 cups of water. Mark the times on the bottle of when each section needs to be finished. Refill and repeat. Bring a bottle to work every day!
Now that you have your three goals, which one can you begin today?
My goal that I’ve been pushing off is the launching of this online platform which as you can see I took my own advice and just launched it! Now I want to know what your goals you’re starting today!
