Meet Amanda-Marie

Hi! I’m Amanda-Marie Spilchen, or as many of you know me by, AmandaMarieBiz!  I’m a Loyalist College Business graduate who also holds an advanced diploma in Business Administration-Human Resources from St. Lawrence College. I have a passion for all things business and believe there are many misconceptions about the industry.

Even as a child, I knew I wanted to be in business. That said, I need a stencil to draw stick people, so I knew an artistic adventure would never be for me. I also have zero great ideas for the next upcoming product so I knew that wouldn’t be for me either. During my time in College, I discovered that my love for business stems in the simple concept of helping people.  I realized that most people don’t want to be business owners dealing with daily operations and behind the scenes stuff! No, most want to focus on their passions. My passion just happened to be the daily operations and behind the scenes stuff!  I looked for a resource that helped small businesses or potential entrepreneurs develop the back end of their business while allowing them the time to focus on their passions, and I was shocked to find very limited industry resources.  And that is how Amanda-Marie Consulting was established!

In my spare time, you’ll likely find me with a notebook, drinking a blonde americano brainstorming my next big adventure. I enjoy spending time with my family and I make a mean guacamole! I believe in focusing on the positive of every situation, setting goals and working towards a better you every day.
